# Bottletop racers

## Rationale

The plan is to figure out the best combinations

## Bottletop racer

The term "bricolage" means to tinker. The French equivalent to Bunnings shops

## Collecting data

Here are some students determining the angle in which the racer overcomes starting friction. The idea is to establish a baseline (control) then vary one parameter.  First port of call is are the wheels too wide. The chasis are made from core flute, of which there is plenty to be had  at drive in bottle shops political elections etc Smarty pants know sinΘ = opposite side/hypotenuse and you can get the the angle by asinΘ of sinθ The drain pipe is 1m long therefore the measured side in cm is the vlua of sine so the asin of the boys' measurement, 300 mm or .3m is  asin .3 = 17.45 degrees.
