This looks really cool, and they are encouraging educators to use it in
schools. Google App inventor software for Android phones that looks like
Scratch, with drag and drop programming blocks. After students have learnt
Scratch they can move on to creating Apps for Android based mobile phones
(and presumably Android based Pad and Mobile computing devices).
